Imagine if you have to tell the people giving you money to lend credence to their policy, to provide a sound theoretical and evidentiary basis for the policy … that there are at minimum, nagging doubts, and at maximum, the policy is based upon weak or incorrect science … imagine telling these people that they are wrong. Considering they hold the purse strings, are they going to take having their policy contradicted as being something they are willing to pay for? I think not. Whats sad is that those promoting the policies were questioning the impartiality of those who had the temerity to question the scientific basis for the results. The irony of this …
